ABOUT OUR FUNCTIONAL DIETITIANS

At Couture Wellness, our team of expert functional dietitians believes every person deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion— we’re committed to providing truly inclusive healthcare.
We look beyond symptoms to understand your unique story—your upbringing, experiences, and the patterns they’ve shaped. Whether you're seeking intuitive eating counseling or other support from a functional dietitian, our team offers a judgment-free, personalized space built for honest conversations about your health.
More than a business, our team provides a haven for holistic, heartfelt care where you’re seen, supported, and empowered to live your healthiest, happiest life.
Couture Wellness LLC's journey began way before our work in the health and wellness industry. We have always advocated for inclusivity and acceptance because we know what it feels like to live in a world where you feel different.
Being a part of the queer community has provided us with the ability to not only sympathize, but also empathize deeeply with patients and their health concerns.
Body dysmorphia and eating disorders are not uncommon amongst the LGBTQIA+ population. Having lived experience and being a part of this statistic gave us the foundation of compassion and empathy we hold deep in our values today.

From working in hospitals and long-term care facilities, our functional dietitians realized that fast-paced healthcare environments pose challenges of limited time for in-depth conversations with patients.
Despite the demanding workload, we made a conscious effort to spend time listening to patients' concerns. This was not out of obligation, but out of a genuine commitment to providing the attention and understanding our patients deserved. The profound gratitude we received in return only strengthened our resolve to redefine the patient-provider relationship and practice inclusive healthcare.
We have come to recognize the barriers preventing patients from opening up, sharing their deepest concerns, and seeking the support they needed. Patients often felt uncomfortable, judged, and worried that their voices wouldn't be taken seriously. This realization fueled our desire to create a sanctuary where individuals, from all backgrounds, could feel seen, heard, and valued.
